Travel to Melkong Delta - Can Tho Floating Market and Tra Su Forest
Mekong Delta is naturally carpeted in a dizzying array of greens. This is a water world where floating houses, boats and markets float upon the innumerous canals, rivers, and streams that intersect on the landscape like arteries.
The charming beauty of the Mekong Delta and unique local living patterns have resulted in major tourist attractions including some luxuriant fruit orchards, well-known floating markets, mangrove forests Buddhist temples and Khmer pagodas, off-coast islands. The bustling commerce of its own town is opposite sharply to the almost-soporific and languid pace of the rural life.
Vinh Trang Temple
Leave the meeting point, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. This pagoda has many interesting architectural features. You will find a perfect combination between Western and Eastern features. From the outside, the pagoda looks like a caste with many pillars. However, when you go inside the pagoda, it will see the horizontal lacquered board and statues.
Ben Tre
Then, you will take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages.
Cai Rang
Take a boat to a small village in Cai Rang district. Check into your riverside cottage. Free for exploring the rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta people by going cycling or trekking around the village. Time to self-cooked and enjoy dinner together with the local host. Enjoy an evening of traditional folk music with your neighbors. Overnight in your riverside cottage.

6:45 am - 7:30 am: Taking a boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is a wholesale market of fruit and vegetables at its busiest at this time of the day. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta.
Chau Doc
Proceed to Chau Doc and continue the tour to visit Tra Su - This nature reserve covers a massive area that is home to the rich and diverse species of water birds, fishes, reptiles, bats and some endangered species. The lush vegetation, florals and fauna in abundance created an amazing haven for wildlife. Taking a motorized boat followed by a rowing boat deep into the forest through the lovely channel of waterways, a short walk to the observation tower to enjoy the panoramic view or the area. Back to the town, on the way back stop by to visit Sam Mountain, the Cave pagoda (if time permitted). Hotel check in.

After breakfast, take a nice boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish in their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque.
- Free for children with ages from 1-4 (parents take responsibility for related children’s expenses). 2 adults are allowed to take one child for free, and 50% for the second child (have their own seats and have half at meals). If 1 adult goes with one child in this range of ages, he/she will be charged 50% of the tour fee.
- Children from 5-9 years old will be charged 75% of the tour fee.
- From 10-year-old, children are considered as adults.
